  • The combination of Young Professionals and Space is magic! Space is a source of challenges from many viewpoints: technology, applications, knowledge for Humanity. Young Professionals are the ideal group to face all those challenges, thanks to their energy, competence and open view about the Future. Gathering Young Professionals from the various societies is a great cooperation environment for developing the topic with an effective and multidimensional approach. Convergence of practitioners, researchers and engineers will provide the Space topic with the best ingredients for creating complex and challenging system architectures. Finally, location is great. Wish you all the best success for the Event!

  • Space: the final frontier." That is how Star Trek episodes started, do you recall? Actually, YP in Space is just the beginning of an exciting adventure that IEEE Young Professionals are undertaking. "Space" encompasses a number of technical and scientific disciplines, and brings people from many different parts of the world together toward a common goal to reach the unreachable. Space is about hard work; it is about excellence; it is about passion. All of these and more are present in this event organized by the IEEE Young Professionals and the CommSensLab "María de Maeztu" Excellence Research Unit, Department of Signal Theory and Communications, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Please come and enjoy technical sessions and a unique boot camp where you will meet people like you and experience the satisfaction of making your own CanSat work and even launch it! To the infinite and beyond, Young Professionals! All the best.
